Art-Agency OTTTENKI and sue MCVDNT Moscow VDNKH present an exhibition of four lithographs of iconic artists of the twentieth century: the French Henri Matisse and Georges Braque, a Spaniard Salvador Dalí and the Belgian rené Magritte.
OTTTENKI is an art project that explores the theme of art in all its manifestations and forms a universal language of communication between artists and viewers. In the field of study of the project — photography, painting, design, printed graphics, architecture, book illustrations, movies and music. And the format of «suddenly pop-up» exhibitions chosen by the project allows you to go beyond the usual demonstration of art objects and turn the event into a «party» of the day format, where you can make colorful photos, watch movies, participate in master classes, which are held by famous art figures, and see art from the artist’s point of view. The opportunity to hold an exhibition in cult Montreal exhibition hall №70 for two months led art Agency to another creative format POP-UP MUSEUM OTTTENKI.
The exhibition «Lithosphere» combines the classical Museum exposition with the latest technologies of visual art: video installations, gif-animations, three-dimensional optical holograms and videos with footage of historical Chronicles, the process of production of lithographs and moments of life of artists. The voices of the authors of the paintings are used in the sound design. Visitors of the exhibition will plunge into the complex, fantastic and mysterious world of selected works of famous artists.
All four artists are well known in Russia for his scenic paintings. But engravings and lithographs, even for the sophisticated viewer can be an aesthetic discovery, allowing much deeper insight into the heritage of the great masters.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the exhibition space there is an Art workshop, where visitors can not only admire the masterpieces, but also try themselves as an artist and create a linocut or etching based on what they saw or following their own imagination. In addition to art master classes and linocut classes, the program of the art workshop will include ceramic master classes and stone painting on the works of Georges Braque, as well as an hour-long master class on Dali and collages in the style of Henri Matisse.
Everyone can get acquainted with the life and work of masters from July 15 to September 15 in the pavilion №70 (Moscow) at VDNH.
