The World is an intellectual magazine and multimedia project about enduring values in the modern world. The idea behind the project is to create a platform for dialogue between countries, cultures, and diverse worldviews through exploring the unique human experience of those who make important decisions in business, politics, culture, and science today.
We are a bridge magazine, connecting authors from around the globe: representatives of different countries, political views, and religious traditions. We are building a platform that seeks to unite the world rather than divide it — a desire to foster dialogue and build bridges between our readers and followers worldwide.
Paradoxically, today’s open information landscape is fragmenting into numerous echo chambers, amplifying differences and contradictions, making mutual understanding between people difficult or even impossible.
Each issue of The World almanac is devoted to a single theme explored from multiple perspectives — on oneself, on the surrounding world, on history and the present. That is why we begin conversations with each of our authors long before the magazine goes to print.
The magazine’s columnists include: Princess of Bahrain Sheikha Deya, Richard Branson, Bertrand Piccard, Vadim Dymov, Parag Khanna, Tigran Keosayan, Miranda Mirianashvili, Kirill Rubinsky, Evgeny Margulis, Dmitry Bertman, Adelino da Costa, Stanislav Kucher, Morihiro Iwata, and many others.
Rebranding
Following the company’s rebranding, the magazine has been published since 2017.
Magazine, Services, Apps
The World magazine in its collectible print edition is published four times a year. Each issue is an illustrated almanac designed for thoughtful reading. We are bringing back the pleasure of magazine reading — the joy of quality writing, the delight of illustrations, inspiration, and relaxation.
The World’s online platform is updated daily, with all content accessible through social media in a convenient and familiar format. Breaking news delivery is important, but equally important is taking time every day to reflect on complex ideas that go beyond headlines and bulletins.
