The DBS nameplate has been attached to some of Aston Martin’s finest cars. Since 2018, the DBS has stood at the top of the company’s production range — a twin-turbo V12 grand tourer combining ferocious performance with an elegance that is specifically, recognisably Aston Martin. As production of this generation draws to a close, the company has decided to end it on its own terms: with the DBS770 Ultimate, the most powerful production Aston Martin ever made.
The engine is the starting point. The 5.2-litre quad-cam 60-degree V12 now produces 770PS at 6,500rpm and 900Nm of torque from just 1,800rpm. That is a 7% increase in maximum turbo boost pressure over the standard DBS, achieved through modified air and ignition pathways.
Top speed is 211mph. The engineering underneath matches those numbers. A new clamshell bonnet carries a dramatic horseshoe engine vent and integrates two outboard vents to increase airflow to the radiators.
Carbon fibre cantrail, windscreen surround, mirror caps, and fender louvres come as standard. A new carbon fibre sill element lowers the visual side profile toward the rear wheel, creating a poised, muscular stance. The rear diffuser maintains aerodynamic balance front to rear.
Production is limited to 300 Coupes and 199 Volantes — all sold before announcement. Deliveries began in Q3 2023. The DBS770 Ultimate is not simply a more powerful version of an existing car. It is the closing statement of a chapter — the last expression of this V12 grand tourer configuration before Aston Martin moves to the next era.
