Delighting and Inspiring People: Maxim Berin

Alex
June 23, 2026

Maxim Berin has been organising concerts and cultural events for over twenty years. His company, Berin Iglesias Art, operates across more than twenty countries and has presented artists from Michael Bublé and Elton John to Charles Aznavour and Tony Bennett. Lara Palmer spoke with him about the business of live performance — its logistics, its friendships, and its occasional absurdities.

Lara Palmer: What were the most memorable events of the past twenty years?

Maxim Berin: There have been so many. Among the brightest are shows with Michael Bublé, Elton John, and Robbie Williams — always bringing immense pleasure. Working with Charles Aznavour in the last five years of his life. And most recently, an Andrea Bocelli and Jamie Cullum concert at a festival on the Isle of Capri — the Capri Palace Hotel rooftop, a July evening, the setting sun over the water. Simply beautiful. LP: How was your partnership with Jorge Iglesias formed? MB: We have been partners for over ten years now. Knowing what to expect from each other is the foundation of everything. The number of shows has multiplied, the geographical spread has widened considerably, the branch network has grown. That is the proof of how well the tandem works. LP: What makes your shows special? MB: Our souls are energised by emotions. Live music reawakens pure feelings and sincere responses. It allows people to step away from their problems, recall their youth, hear a familiar melody through the body rather than just the ears. That is what we are actually doing — not just organising events, but delivering open, sincere messages that matter to people. That is the closest thing we have to a mission. LP: What principle do you follow regarding artists? MB: We very much respect and value artists who remain faithful to themselves and do not lose their humanity as they become famous. Being a great professional is not obligatory. Being human is. That is our absolute standard. LP: Is there anyone you would still like to work with? MB: Yes — Adele. And we are already planning to present Måneskin. Personally, I would very much like to work with Lionel Richie again. And I would always welcome another collaboration with Michael Bublé — it is always an extraordinary pleasure, both aesthetically and professionally.
