The name translates from Dhivehi as Secret Water Island. Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi sits on the Shaviyani Atoll — an area of the archipelago that feels more remote and less visited than the more famous southern atolls, with a corresponding quality of stillness that the island’s design makes the most of. One hundred and twenty villas occupy the island, some surrounded by garden, some overwater.
