Pitti Uomo 105: Sustainability and Creativity in Florence

June 26, 2026

Pitti Uomo is Pitti Immagine’s main trade show dedicated to men’s fashion and lifestyles, held twice yearly at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence — a 16th-century fortress that has served as the world’s most significant menswear platform since 1972. The January edition, Pitti Uomo 105, featured over 832 brands from 46 countries, divided into themed sections: Fantastic Classic and Futuro Maschile offering urban techno-tailoring and menswear icons; Superstyling with its luxury of discretion and commitment to ecological change; and Dynamic Attitude highlighting outerwear as an evolutionary process. A focus on sustainability and creative collaboration defined many of the season’s special projects.

Brands like Ecoalf and Replume presented collections aligned with commitments to circular fashion. Ecoalf’s autumn-winter range highlighted the colours of nature, while Replume’s installation The Wounds of the Earth drew attention to the planet’s fragile condition. Guest designers Luca Magliano and Steven Stokey-Daley energised the show with catwalk presentations.

Magliano showed his whimsical collection at the Nelson Mandela Forum, presenting intricate silhouettes reimagining Italian heritage. London-based Steven Stokey-Daley, with his S.S. Daley brand, debuted at the ornate Salone dei Cinquecento of Palazzo Vecchio — an expressive, eccentric reinterpretation of British heritage with indifference to gender stereotypes and a commitment to sustainability.

Todd Snyder debuted at the Stazione Leopolda displaying his American aesthetic inspired by Italian style. Camper and Automobili Lamborghini showed collaborative footwear combining both brands’ technical skills. The Consinee and Vitelli project highlighted a cashmere capsule collection combining Italian innovation with sophisticated Chinese manufacturing. Pitti Uomo 105 demonstrated Florence’s ongoing leadership in promoting responsible reinventions across global menswear — 830 brands, 46 countries, both in person and digitally.
